looking for suitable donors).
Anthony Nolan are now allowing people
aged 17 and a half
to join
their bone marrow register, providing they have parental consent
(Please download the form for completion by your parent/guardian, and bring it
along with you to a Clinic).

Traditional blood samples are replaced by saliva samples at
Matt's Match Recruitment Clinics.
Now becoming a volunteer potential donor couldn’t be easier......
Please note Volunteer Potential Donors are requested not to eat,
drink, smoke or chew gum in the half hour prior to giving a saliva
sample.
To make your visit to the recruitment clinic quicker and easier
you can
download the Medical Questionnaire
complete it
and bring it along to the Clinic on the day.

Over 40 Years Of Age But Still Want To Donate |

To join Anthony Nolan register you
need to be:
18-40 years old-once registered your details remain on file
until you are 60 years old
Weigh over 8 stone/51 kg
Fully committed to provide a donation to ANY patient worldwide who is a
suitable match.
In good health-volunteers have to be medically fit
to undergo the donation procedure.
(For this reason you will be asked to complete a
medical history questionnaire
prior to joining the register, to ensure that you do not have
any of the conditions that
prohibit bone marrow donation). |
